Local Delivery
Deliveries will be free every Friday for certain towns within Latrobe Valley. For towns we offer free delivery please see our Delivery and Shipping section. If you live outside these areas your gift box will be delivered using Australia Post for a flat rate postage fee of $15.

Local Delivery not on a Friday
If you need your gift box delivered on a certain day (that’s not on Friday) we will do our best to accommodate this, however this will not always be the case. Please contact us prior to make arrangement for outside Friday delivery. Additional charges may apply.

Can I pick up the gift box?
Yes. If you live outside the delivery area or would like your gift box prior to delivery day,  your gift box can be picked up. Please contact us prior to placing your order to make arrangements.  

Can I include a personalised note or card?
Yes you can. A personalised note is free of charge, please just write your personal note or sentiment at checkout and we will hand write it for you. If you prefer a card for a special occasion, you can also choose from our hand-illustrated selection of greeting cards to include with your gift. 

Can I create my own gift box?
Of course we have a section 'create your own' to do just that. Perfect for if you want to swap an item, hit a certain price point, or create a memorable one-of-a-kind gift .

Products Out of Stock - we replace with similar item/s
Sometimes we sell out of a particular item or we have supply issues. In this case, we will swap over that particular product for a similar one in stock to the same or higher value. We will do our best to contact you and let you know, however this will not always be possible.

What is your return policy?
Due to the time and attention to detail we take in assembling your gift, all sales are final. We take great care in making sure your gifts get to you just as pretty as they left us. If there has been damage to your item(s) in transit, please notify us immediately via the contact form.

Do you offer gifting services for businesses and industry professionals?
Absolutely. Get in touch with us here and see some of our previous corporate gifting options.  

My order is a gift. Can you make sure not to include any packing slip or receipt in my delivery?
Of course. We will only include hard copies of receipts on request.

What happens if the recipient isn't home?
If the person you are sending the gift to isn’t home, the gift box will be left out of the weather as close to the front door as possible. We will notify you via our website when the gift has been delivered. The Simple Gesture cannot be held liable for theft or damage of the gift, if the intended recipient is unavailable to receive their delivery.

Do you do gift boxes for events and weddings?
We love creating gifts for weddings and special events. Get in touch with us here and we will organise a time to get together to discuss. 

How do the gift boxes come?
The gift box will be packaged and wrapped, with a gift card (optional) inside. What you see on the website will be how it is presented. Our deluxe gift boxes are magnetic closing boxes, which are perfect to re-use.

Can I return the gift boxes?
Yes please. If you have no use for your magnetic closing box please get in contact and we do our best to arrange for it to be picked up.
